Mediation Skills

Summary:

When two or more people cannot resolve their conflicts on their own they need a third party to assist.  Your role, as the mediator, will be to guide the discussion and manage the emotional climate in a safe, constructive and collaborative way. You will ensure the airtime is shared and that they are speaking to each other in a way the other can hear. Your goal will be to build understanding and empathy between them enough so they can reach agreement and more forward.

This course will give you the tools and skills to intervene in conflict between two or more other parties.
